Charles Wisseman, Mixed Media Artist

Another strap-bound medical series book. I don't do neurologic exams any more, so I took my collection of tuning forks, reflex hammer, pinprick sensory tester and put them in an old microscope slide box to make a sound box , or helmholz resonator, The stethoscope allows listening to resonances when the tuning fork interacts with the box to produce various overtones of the "C" note. Hammer or hand can drum on the box like a cahon. Missing singing and live music-- music wants to be social, but has to be solitary now. Pure tone is centering and meditative, and feels right now. Thinking more about hearing, listening, silence, now that the amateur fireworks displays have died down. Experience whatever is available.
