Flax and eyes 2020

Two pieces that were housed in a complex box -form that never really worked, now as separate wall pieces. Backgrounds are walnut-dyed handmade flax paper with a lot of texture. One has multiple ceramic eye forms held by nets. The other has plastic magnifying eye loupes with mirrors behind, set at random angles. As a pathologist, I am drawn to things that look like tissues and organs. Part of an eye-themed series I am doing, but you can see what you want.
